The Conscious City Laboratory connects architecture with second-order cybernetics, artificial intelligence and ethics. Across four research works, the central question remains consistent: how can increasingly data-driven and automated environments support understanding, participation and responsible human decision-making rather than reduce people to passive users or measurable variables?
The research spans the Conscious City and BrainBox concept, AI ethics and free will, the lessons of Project Cybersyn for Industry 4.0, and posthuman questions around cyborgs, avatars, digital identity and AI.
